You know, nothing really jumps out as a guarateed horrible match other than Kane-Khali. I just hope Regal wins the belt from Christian.

very happy with that result.

that chair spot makes no sense. a sharpshooter hurts more in a chair? and then shawn puts on a camel clutch but now cody has his belly comfortably on a padded chair. weird.

DIBIASE THROUGH THE CRAFT SERVICES TABLE! BAH GAWD!

Rhodes doesn’t have any straps to pull down, so the ankle lock was never going to finish the match.

and regal sucks. both kozlov and big zeke would bring more prestige to the title

human beings, who are almost unique in their ability to learn from the experiences of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

by variablesdont on Sep 13, 2009 9:32 PM EDT up reply actions

Kozlov and Zeke aren’t even ready to step out from under Regal’s distinguished and mighty wing, let alone challenge for the title.

by Doug Chu on Sep 13, 2009 9:34 PM EDT up reply actions

didn't kozlov pin cena? multiple times, even, back when they were on SD!?

ezekial jackson might be a little green behind the ears, but kozlov was a monster before getting sent to ECW.

human beings, who are almost unique in their ability to learn from the experiences of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

by variablesdont on Sep 13, 2009 9:35 PM EDT up reply actions

Kozlov was boring as sin, the more time he spends in Regal’s tutelage the better.

by Doug Chu on Sep 13, 2009 9:37 PM EDT up reply actions

Not really

There’s a good reason why Kosloz is in ECW instead of Smackdown or Raw

by Hjorvarthr on Sep 13, 2009 9:35 PM EDT up reply actions

let's quit this fussin and a-feudin

and agree that regal is awesome and his stable is a really great use of all three guys

by SundownMotel on Sep 13, 2009 9:38 PM EDT up reply actions

If Jackson and Koslov are used as guys are used to beat up people for Regal

I’m fine with that

I actually liked their crushing of jobbers the last few weeks

by Hjorvarthr on Sep 13, 2009 9:40 PM EDT up reply actions

but it's not.

there’s nothing for kozlov and jackson to do on ECW. what are they gonna do? face off agaisnt yoshi tatsu and tyler rex? there’s no tag titles on ECW, and there are no tag teams on ECW.

they should have faced off against each other after all that business about squashing jobbers. that should have built to a #1 contenders match, and then to a title shot against christian.

noone gains anything by putting the belt on regal. at least WWE got that much right.

human beings, who are almost unique in their ability to learn from the experiences of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

by variablesdont on Sep 13, 2009 9:44 PM EDT up reply actions

I don’t see what Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermit’s fame has to do with this.

by Doug Chu on Sep 13, 2009 9:45 PM EDT up reply actions

They can build them up as a monster tag team

and whenever JeriShow drop the belts to some faces they could go after the belts

But JeriShow is awesome and I’d rather not see them lose the belts right now

by Hjorvarthr on Sep 13, 2009 9:45 PM EDT up reply actions

putting them with regal is a great idea to both establish them as fearsome bruisers in the short term and regal as a mastermind in the long term. eventually they will turn on/break free from/overthrow regal, this just gets them all over for now.

some things can still be done slowly and effectively and remain as simple as this.

by SundownMotel on Sep 13, 2009 9:47 PM EDT up reply actions

jerishow is awesome.

and i’ve said this a few times, but having 80+ wrestlers on the payroll, but only 1 tag title just sucks. it leaves no opportunity for guys like the nasties, or crime time, or legacy, the hart dynasty, or even the edgeheads.

jerishow deserves the belts, but the titles should be used to build up new names, and having these guys hold them, it just doesn’t do anything.

human beings, who are almost unique in their ability to learn from the experiences of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

That shot of Orton reaching for the key (so much possible symbolism there) was EPIC.
