In the mid-'80s, the Iron Sheik was charged with assault. His lawyer, Mickey Sherman, came up with a brilliant defense strategy: Have WWF wrestlers and Cyndi Lauper(!) cut promos about what a good guy he is while standing in front of the WWF interview set.
