Great Moments In Sid History: "What you did Jack Tunney, was BOGUS!"

Sidglobe_medium

To celebrate SON OF SID's entry into the realm of professional wrestling along with further celebrating monsters in October on Cageside Seats, I bring you a new series: Great Moments In Sid History.  We start with what is perhaps his greatest promo, after the jump:

Star-divide

After the 1992 Royal Rumble, the Wrestlemania VIII press conference was held.  At this press conference, WWF President Jack Tunney was scheduled to announce who Ric Flair's challenger would be at Wrestlemania out of a field of The Undertaker, Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, and Sid Justice, who was the last man eliminated in the Rumble where Flair won the title.  Sid rightfully expected the shot and started to stand up, but was shocked when Tunney announced that Hogan was getting the title shot.  Sid was justifiably pissed off and shared his views with the world, most notably including this quote:

What you did Jack Tunney, was BOGUS! THE MOST BOGUS ACT YOU'VE EVER PULLED OFF!

Here's the full video of the press conference and aftermath:
