Bragging Rights Main Events Announced
While SBNation is busy exploding and catching on fire due to the Michael Crabtree and Braylon Edwards news, there are things happening in professional wrestling!
WWE's next Pay-Per-View, Bragging Rights, features Smackdown and Raw superstars competing to see who has the better show (Smackdown). So of course, the two main events have to be extra-spectacular, right?
Raw's main event features WWE Champion Randy Orton taking on John Cena in an Iron Man match. The competitor who scores the most decisions within an hour will become champion! This will be the first Iron Man match in WWE since 2005, and the first hour-long Iron Man since Chris Benoit defeated Triple H on Raw in 2004. Also of note: this will be the 12th time that John Cena and Randy Orton have wrestled one another on PPV in the past three years.
Smackdown's main event will be a four-way match for the World Heavyweight Championship with Undertaker defending against CM Punk, Batista, and Rey Mysterio. No word yet as to whether this will be elimination-style, or the stupid "first pinfall wins it".
The most recent rumors indicate that Batista will be feuding with Undertaker in the near future, but since Undertaker could barely walk at Sunday's Hell in a Cell PPV and Batista is made of tissue paper and wishes, that could all change on a whim. Speaking of whims, if CM Punk can find a way out of the doghouse in the next month, as the only heel in the match this may be a good opportunity for him to weasel his way into a fourth title reign.

I was actually about to post a story about this very subject. The most interesting thing to me is that they seem to be completely shutting ECW out of this PPV.

they might as well. the only two legitimate title threats are both playing second fiddle to bill regal.
i guess they could push shelton or goldydust, but that’s never gonna happen.
human beings, who are almost unique in their ability to learn from the experiences of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
