Cageside Seats Monster Month #28

LOCH NESS

Kevin Sullivan's Dungeon of Doom will be making more than it's fair share of appearances here during Monster Month. In fact, I'm kinda shocked that it took this long for them to get a mention. Most of the members of the D of D had colorful gimmicks that were, if nothing else, good for a laugh. Loch Ness's gimmick was that  he was really, really fat. He wrestled in Europe in the 70's and 80's as Giant Haystacks and was a huge star (in both the literal and figurative sense). In the mid 90's WCW needed a monster heel to feud with Hulk Hogan so they brought in the big man. Shortly after his program with Hogan began to take shape he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away a few years later. Mostly all that remains of his WCW run are some squash matches and a notable PPV match with The Giant, so here ya go. Enjoy them... if you can!

Feel bad for the guy. Had such a long career and he is most famous for a run he had in WCW broke down.
