Kurt Angle's first comments on arrest...

TNA World Champ and former Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle called into Pittsburgh radio station B94's morning show, "Buckhead and Bubba," and made his first public comments discussing his arrest over the weekend.

Star-divide

Breaking into tears during the interview, Angle said spending nine hours in custody after his arrest Saturday morning was the lowest point of his life. "I didn't do anything wrong, and I was sitting there in the (Allegheny) county jail," Angle said. "I didn't do anything wrong, and I was sitting there in the (Allegheny) county jail," Angle said.

Angle said that the woman asked to take his car and go to the store early Saturday. Soon after that, he says Moon police were at his door, telling him to leave.

And my absolutely favorite excerpt!

The wrestler said he only had a few moments to grab some things -- including his gold medal, for sentimental value -- as he left the house.

Being a Southerner all my life, am I to believe that people as far north as Pittsburgh CHOOSE the moniker “Bubba” to go by?
