Mighty Igor was best known as a childlike "friendly immigrant" and this cover circa 1977 does a great job of establishing his image, placing him in what looks like an illustration from the Weekly Reader or something similar in that era. I believe that Les Thatcher was responsible for this style of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Magazine covers, and he did a great job with them.
