Indie Guys You Need to Know: Scott Lost

For the first few years of his career, San Diego native Scott Lost made a name for himself as a solid tag team wrestler. Based primarily in PWG, he teamed with Chris Bosh as Arrogance and formed The Dynasty with Joey Ryan. Though at times he didn't get the credit he deserved while fans took notice of his more flamboyant and over-the-top partners, Scott has, over the course of his nine-year career, more than earned his nickname, "The Professional". Over the past two years, I've been noticing Lost significantly stepping up his game, which was always solid to begin with. Everything he does looks good and looks like it hurts. Perhaps most importantly of all, everything in his demeanor and mannerisms makes you genuinely believe that everything he is doing matters. You believe he hates that guy's guts, and he's going to do everything in his power to prove that he's the better man. He manages to do all of these things and be a fantastic heel while still retaining a genuine sense of humor. He's one of my very favorite wrestlers in the world today, he brings out the best in just about every opponent he faces, and he has, bar none, the best spear in professional wrestling history. You owe it to yourself to check out more of Scott Lost. I recommend any PWG DVD from 2008 on.
