Tales of the Rambling wrestling promos

Before most WWE promos were fully scripted by Hollywood writers (who figured that the best use of their writing talent was to script Batista interviews) wrestlers had to make up stuff on their own to say. This often lead to promos that were strange rambling messes.

This promo from Wrestlemania four starts out okay but then Hulk Hogan begins to talk about how he plans on putting the lives of all his fans at the arena in danger by flooding trump plaza. (And he later clams in the promo that he will save all the hulkamanacs by letting them all climb on his back ) No wonder all his friends turned heel on this insane man in the 80's.

Hogan’s promo from Saturday Night (it made the SNME DVD set) where he talks about meeting with Ronald Regan because Regan needed to prove he was a hulkamaniac and he made the president roll up his sleeves and show the “4 lane highway running down his bicep” and the “lower head blowing out the socket on his tri” just beats the Christ out of this one as far as Hogan ramblers go

Hogan seems to be on something in most of his promos from that era.
