Meeting of the Minds

Midweek ESPN awoke from its stupor and realized, as it does every few years, that MMA is the hottest sport in the country among men under 30. Wrestling Observer Editor Dave Meltzer was part of the giant, belated, push by the media behemoth that included putting the UFC on the front page of the ESPN website.

Bill Simmons, a long time wrestling fan, grilled Meltzer about the ultra violence inherent in the sport, steroids, and even Rowdy Roddy Piper. Definitely worth a listen.
